Hopefully Briarlow will have a new litter around Feb. 2012. Keep viewing for any updates. Mum to be is Calida my brown and white girl mated to Chico a very handsome black boy, low hipscore, clear gonioscopy and PRA DNA clear. Temperaments are some of the best in the breed.

Spanish Water Dog Puppies Available

We have no pups available at this moment in time, but fingers crossed that we may have some in 2012 from Calida, the first ever Best In Show winner at the first Spanish Water Dog Club UK show in 2009.

Watch this space for further details. She's a brown and white girl with one of the best temperaments in the breed, fingers crossed will be going to stud to a lovely black boy.

A Good Day for Briarlow

Yesterday (18.9.11) was a good day for Briarlow bred dogs. Briarlow's Amigo Para Siempre aka Sula got 2nd in veteran and Best Bitch. Briarlow Jay Lowe among Lochfain (Ti) got first in Open Bitch and Poppy got 1st in Post Graduate Bitch and then got Reserve Best Bitch.

Well done Judith and Guy who own Sula and Ti, photo's of Sula and Poppy to follow later.

Pacmen's Have Arrived

Carmen has had her pups. Sadly by c-section. One boy and two girls, all black and white like Poppy. Mum and pups doing brilliantly, you can see them on You-Tube under Briarlow

Fantastic Calendar

Well Carmen's inbuilt calendar is brilliant. Pups were due today and she has just started her contractions. Off to mum's and will up-date you all later on today.

One Week To Go

Carmen and Paco's litter are due a week tomorrow. Pups are kicking away today. Will post any updates as they happen.

I didn't bother getting Carmen scanned as she's showing definite signs.

Puppy's will hopefully be availabel soon by Carmen and Paco.

Carmen Scanning

Will hopefully get Carmen scanned in a couple of weeks time to see if she is pregnant this time. Will update on here as soon as we know!

Keep everything crossed, hopefully Carmen didn't have everything crossed at the time of her mating.

New Kid on The Block

A Josalyn boy has joined Briarlow and I have a lovely new boy called Quin.

He's doing really well at ringcraft and obedience classes and we have high hopes here at Briarlow.

Bad Timing

Well yet again doesn't look like we will have pups in 2011. Calida has come into season 2 months early and as she is entered for Crufts we have decided not to breed from her again!

We may breed from Carmen later in the year.
